Sample Case Study

Sunbeam and "Chainsaw Al" is an interactive case for Management courses that can be used either in class or as a homework assignment. The site involves the Sunbeam Corporation and one of its executives, Albert Dunlap.

Using this Case in the Business Class

• This case could be assigned as an online case in a Strategic Management class. Students could be asked to conduct an assessment of Chainsaw Al's strategy. The case could also be used in any case that involves ethics.
• There are questions for discussion at the end of the case.
